Summer in a second

Ok this is going to be a quickie blog...

So lets pick up from me returning from La for the second time.

I went to this yacht club.

And wore these super cool floaties

And Dashy took his first dip in the pool.

And then Bon and I were very sad.

Cause the weather did alot of this.

So then i headed to Miami.

Too see these too birthday gals.

And this crazy chihuahua lady.

And gather this much food.

For these squirrel things

We went to this food truck show

And ate this food...

And this food....

And some of this food.

Then i went to Bon's new apartment to look out at this view.

And party all night with these drinks

And fall in these shoes.

And then spend the next day laying out by this pool.

Before i headed back home to see this boy.

Wahhhhh i miss you summer come back to me .

LA round 2

So about a month after I went to LA the first time.. I returned again for a second time.

This time it was all about Alex. He got asked to come out to LA and be apart of two amazing summer camps.

The first one was an acting camp with one of the top casting agents in the buz. He spent a whole week from 8am to 4 pm in and out of acting classes with some amazing teachers. From there he went over to a music camp and practiced for another couple of hours. Im not sure how he did it. He came out of both camps with agent and mangment offers.

This was us ready for take off on the plane.

After a long week he was kinda tired by the end of rehearsals.

After both camps were over and he had two awesome performaces we hit Universal City Walk for dinner and shopping.

Of course with Alex being with us....we ate here...surprising right?

This was my fortune cookie i got at dinner the first night we got there.

pretty spot on.

It was an amazing week. One i know Alex will never forget. I truly believe that kid has was it takes to make it. He not only has the talent but a good heart to back him up.

Now he and I just gotta get Ma on board so we can get out of this town ... and into LA ;)

IMATS 2011

So i got to go to the IMATS this summer and just an fyi IMATS stands for International Makeup Artist Trade show.

Its a huge trade show that takes place at the pasadena convention center once a year where makeup artists come from all over the world to be apart of the show.

But first i met up with these little angels to cause some trouble

We stayed at Jasmins Aunt house in Santa Monica... literally right on the water .

This was a house in the neighborhood that i called dibs on.

This was the street view to die for right?

So we spent all day saturday at the show. What an amazing experience

These were some of the contestants for the beauty fantasy contest. Some of the work was unbelievable

He was covered head to toe in MAC pigments

Then inbetween walking around the show and the contest there were hourly classes taught by some of the top makeup artists in the business. I got to take a class by a top mac artist , tyra banks personal makeup artist who literally just got in from filming the next season of americas next top model, and a bunch of others

It was such a crazy cool experience to be apart of im so glad i go to be apart of it! i will for sure be back for it next year!

21 betchesss!!!

Wooohooo wohoooo guess whos 21!

This girl right here.

Actually i wasnt all that excited to be turning 21. Any one who knows me knows that im just such the partier that this birthday really wasnt relivant to me what so ever. Also for the past like 3 years i have not had the best birthday luck. 18...sick as a dog. 19... grandma in the hospital. 20..it rained all day..im talking frickin monsoon rain. So i wasnt expecting this year to be all that much different.

But i was pleasantly surprised.

I didnt do anything crazy. I didnt have a party. I didnt go out and party. I didnt get completely smashed. Nope i had a very quite relaxing day at the spa with my Mama.

For my bday my Mom took me to the PGA national spa for the day. We got to sit by the pool all day and take advantage of all the wonderful mineral pools they have there.

We got lunch and then as a right of passage i ordered a drink.

Too bad i had like 2 sips and didnt like it ...oh well.

Then we each got a spa service. I got a facial while mom got a massage.

I didnt really want a cake or anything all i wanted was to go to Bone Fish Grill for dinner so i could get the bowl of mussels ...to die for!

And then this was my great gift from Blam. Its the professional pics i had taken at the hair show i did. I loved them!

This was by far the best bday so far . Simple and Perfect just the way i like it.

Officially the worst blogger ever

I know i know i know ....you don't need to tell me. Im the worse blogger like ever. I've been so slacking on my blogging lately.

Let's see if i can give you a speedy update on whats been going on the past couple months.

Well...

1) I got to go back to LA in jan. Alex got asked to be apart of NAMM for Samick. He was the youngest endorsed artist there.

He even got to met Randi Jackson from American Idol...Randi said " I like your hat dawg"

And of course i got to go see my little angels back in burbank. It was great seeing them i had missed them so much.

2) When i got back from LA i was asked to be apart of a hair show. It was such a blast. The hair and makeup team were amazing and i got to wear a $2,000 gown.

3) Alex once again was asked to be apart of the Rock out kids cancer benefit. First there was a gala dinner where he performed with Vince and the Phat Cats. He did amazing. It was a fun night of dancing...singing..laughing and fun.

Our Friend Cody Linley even showed up for the gala.

Then a couple days later Alex performed with at the HUGE benefit concert. He played infront of over 2,000 people and he played along side Clarence Clemmions. It was an indiscribible night and sadly once of the last performances Clarence did before passing away a few weeks later. RIP

4) And Lastly ....i got a new job. I am officially a MAC artist.

These past few months have been crazy with all thats been happening in my life but i will for sure make more of an effort to keep up with my blogging from now on.
