Ho Ho Ho

First off i have to dedicate this entry to Schnitzel. Our loyal and loving dog for 14 years. She passed away 2 days after christmas. We miss her so much and its not the same with out her.
Love you Schnitzy old girl.

Again the holidays came rollin around way to fast and again i was no where near ready for them. Im not one for malls and crowds in the first place so malls around christmas time is as painful for me as having my finger nails ripped off. Okay maybe thats a little extreme but i really do hate it. There is supposed to be holiday spirit in the air yet i think that it might be the peak of people rudeness.

Any way either way Christmas was coming and i had to get ready. We ended up having a great holiday and had alot of fun.

Once again Alex was in the church nativity play. This time he was Gabriel the angel with the largest speaking role in the whole show. Plus he played guitar while the angels "sang" away in the manger.

Then at christmas eve mass he was asked to be Joseph. He didnt have to do anything but look cute and place baby jesus in the manger but he did a great job.

So this is one of the gifts Alex got...... personally i think Santa is losing it if he honestly thought this was a good idea. Because the endless guitar playing, the singing and the barking of 3 dogs isnt enough why not add drums into the mix. Sure why not...great idea Santa.

Unforunitly this drum set did not come with ear plugs for the rest of the family...again props to Santa.

We also celebrated Blams 83rd birhday...thats right 83 its crazy but shes still going strong. It was nice because not only was Katie home for christmas break but Kevin and his gf Kate were home as well so everyone came over to celebrate Blams birthday all together.

We had a blast eating, drinking , talking and of course with my family playing lots and lots of music.

And it wouldnt have been winter break with out Louis coming over to see me and then getting completely distracted in jammin with my brother. Hmph. Its always so fun when hes over and they can rock out together... Alex looks up to him so much he has it in his mind that Lou will one day be his brother. Hmm? :)

Being home for the holidays makes me appreciate my family and friends and reminds me how much i love them and they mean to me.
